今天，我们正站在一个充满机遇与挑战的新时代。人工智能蓬勃发展，教育 理念不断更新，学习方式日益多元，国际环境深刻变化。面对新形势，我们 既要坚定教育初心，更要勇于突破创新；既要传承中华语言文化的深厚底 蕴，更要积极探索面向未来的教学理念与实践路径。
在走过四分之一世纪的今天，我们学会将继续搭建高水平的专业交流平台， 促进学术研究、教学创新、资源共享和国际合作，为广大会员提供成长、交 流与发展的广阔舞台。

Welcome to the website of the Canadian Teaching Chinese as a Second Language Association!
Since its establishment in 2000, our Association has been wholeheartedly committed to serving our members, advancing professional development, and promoting academic exchange. Together with generations of TCSL educators from diverse educational systems, we have come a long way side by side, witnessing the continuous growth and evolution of Chinese language and culture education in Canada. The wisdom, dedication, and contributions of every member, as well as every meaningful exchange of ideas and collaborative effort, have become a collective force constantly elevating TCSL in Canada to a new height.
Today, we stand at the threshold of a new era filled with both opportunities and challenges. Artificial intelligence is advancing drastically, teaching philosophies are evolving constantly, learning approaches are multiplying rapidly, and the global landscape is undergoing profound transformation. In response to these new realities, we must remain convinced in our educational mission while strategizing for innovation and renewal. We shall work together to embrace the rich heritage of the Chinese language and culture while actively exploring creative approaches and pathways for teaching and learning.
As we celebrate a quarter century of dedication and achievement, our Association remains committed to providing our members with a high-quality professional platform for inspiring exchange, professional growth, and meaningful connection and support.
Education gains depth through dedication and vitality through innovation; an association flourishes because of its members coming together and finds its future through energizing partnership. As the newly elected president, I am deeply mindful of the responsibility that is entrusted to me, and I look forward to working together with our members to make meaningful contributions to Canada’s multicultural education. Let us set sail with professionalism and passion as our vessel, collaboration and innovation as our sails, and excellence in TCSL as our common destination. Together, let us explore and leverage the limitless possibilities of Chinese language and culture education, and jointly chart a pioneering course for our shared TCSL voyage in Canada.
