We do not have a Chinese program. Our Chinese courses are part of other programs such as English/Chinese Translation, Global Asia Studies, International Development Studies, Linguistics, Management – International Business Stream.
We have an English/Chinese Translation minor program, which is under the category of Languages.

Currently working on translation and related cultures and societies; Chinese-English and English-Chinese bilingual textbooks; experiential education for ECT program students

Changes and challenges for the Chinese programs

[1] Thanks to the English/Chinese Translation minor program, we have lost some Chinese language courses due to limited funding; [2] large class size; [3] lack of native speakers of English who can teach Chinese to English translation courses
